A lovely book to read. These books are great as a palate cleanser. This book touches on how difficult Christmas can be, especially for Charlie. It highlights the difficulty of having a mental illness in a family that may no be as informed and welcoming. As well as the difficulties in communicating one's personal needs. I loved Nick and Charlie's interactions throughout the book. They will forever have my ♡

i'm a sucker for christmas specials, so this is right up my alley. i'm never gonna turn down anything with tori, and i'm appreciating nick and charlie more and more as i read through oseman's stuff. the oliver pov is also really sweet! this is just sweet. depressing at times, but sweet. i badly want to go through the rest of alice oseman's work now, she just works wonders
