If you like a hot steamy romance with arrange marriage and little bit of enemies-to-lovers and boss with employee trope THIS is book for you! I very much like Fiona Cole's writing style it was easy to read with a little bit roughness and amazing characters. I was intrigued, irritated, aroused, shocked, furious and pleased while reading this story. And her sex scene were soo HOT! JUST WOW! I was melting! I can't wait for a second book in this series!

I ᴄᴀɴ·ᴛ ʙᴇʟɪᴇᴠᴇ ʜᴏᴡ ᴍᴜᴄʜ I ʟᴏᴠᴇ ᴛʜɪs ᴍᴀɴ ʙᴜᴛ ᴀʟsᴏ ʜᴏᴡ ᴍᴜᴄʜ I ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴋɪʟʟ ʜɪᴍ. Every second of this book I could see why Fiona is one of my favorite writers.
BiotC is the beginning of a wonderful series by @authorfionacole. We know the empowered Vera who does not agree with the customs of her family, so she makes her own decisions and seeks to be the best woman in this family. But to achieve this, she has to go against her father and seek the help of the handsome Nico. They both find a way to meet their needs and fulfill their dreams. Although their relationship is a bit difficult and they don't get along, they have a chemistry that they can't fake and the destiny that brings them together every time.
It’s a hilarious story, full of tension and the desire to shout to the world how wonderful women are, in case they forget, with endearing characters and a story that will stay etched in your mind. Not to mention how delicious things sound from the mouth of Nicholas Rush, one of my favorite grumpy people in life.

This is a new to me author, and I have to admit, I went in based on the series name alone. And while it didn't have a lot of smut or tons of comedy, I still really enjoyed it. I would say it's more of a romantic drama.

Nico has a revenge plan to get back at the Mariano family, and Vera Mariona ends up right in his world. So there ya go... after an almost encounter, a chance meeting, and a fake proposal the story takes off.

It didn't give a lot of room for the steam, because there was so much drama going on. I enjoyed it enough and will certainly read the rest of the series.

I very much enjoyed this book. It is one of the only Fiona Cole books I've read so far but I will most definitely be investing in purchasing the rest of her books. This was very much a comfort read for me, I honestly never wanted to put it down. Fiona knows how to write romance that's all I can say.

This is a unique take on a marriage of convenience.
Slow, but super hot burn and angsty!
Vera wants to be independent and successful. Her father has very traditional beliefs and expectations, including arranging her marriage to strengthen his business.
Vera is a bit goody-goody with a rebel inside wanting to break free.
Her two bestie’s bring lots of laughs and naughty fun! They are great secondary characters!
Oh, Nico... he’s alpha, a bit harsh on the exterior and oh, so sexy!
The two have that enemies super hot chemistry and banter. I love that aspect so much, all that tension was scorching hot!
The sexy factor is strong and written so well!
And there are some secrets that get revealed over time that turn everything upside down.
Great story and characters! I really enjoyed this book!
