Some 3* books are not that great and some are good for what they are - you know…it’s a gray area for that rating. This was a good for what it was book. Dare I say maybe a 3.5. The author made many a cheeky reference to a hallmark Christmas movie and that’s totally what this was, albeit a little spicier. It was decent and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheesy, average Christmas book that gets you in the mood for some eggnog and carols.

Hmmm. The story was fine overall and enjoyed the “reverse” Hallmark royalty story, but too much swearing and too much sex. This was my first book by this author so maybe had I tried her books before , I would’ve known. I’d give this 2.5 stars.
