Most of the stories in Dangerous Women weren't that frightening or even intriguing. They were pretty well written, but it's hard to flesh much out in a short story. That said, the very last story made the entire book worth reading--even if the others had been horrible (which they weren't).

There were some good stories in this anthology. While not all of them were to my tastes, I have found a few new authors to me that I'd like to read more from:
John Connolly
Laura Lippman
Joyce Carol Oates

Sure, these folks have been around for a while, but this is my first exposure to their work, and I'm kicking myself for not reading them sooner.

Absolutely loved listening to this collection of stories on a long trip and during my daily commute.

With the exception of a couple of good stories, most of this book is male authors writing long descriptions of how good women’s legs look. Skip this one.

I generally do not enjoy short stories but this was an excellent collection. There was only 1 that I didn't really connect with and the rest we well done. Lots of my favorite authors.
