I spent a long time trying to get through this because I love David Mitchell but I just can't. A collection of his work from the Guardian the majority of the articles are extremely outdated now and just not a pleasure to read. His negativity and wit address wonderful most times but 300+ pages of outdated rants is tiresome.

Some really funny curmudgeonly rants and some really eye-roll-inducing curmudgeonly rants. Pretty much exactly what I expected. The book itself probably only rates a 3.5/5 but Mitchell reading the audiobook bumped it to 4/5.
