Really enjoyed this book. As someone who also suffers from chronic migraines, I thought Eva's experience was captured well. I also appreciated that Eva and Shane didn't idealize or glorify their high school fling. They knew they were a toxic, co-dependent mess. 

I couldn't give it five stars because Audrey was SO annoying. Like a younger, more obnoxious Rory Gilmore (with a similar clingy mother/daughter vibe to Lorelei and Rory). Maybe it was just how she came across in the audio book?

Felt like a slog and just not really for me. It was fine but felt a bit Wattpad in its style and tone which doesn’t interest me.
