329 pages of mostly boring...

This is the first Pratchett where I knew it was going to be less than 3 stars. We were back to his vignette style of writing (similar to A color of magic)  and more than once I felt lost. I did not care for any of the characters. 

The religion part of the story didn't bother me at all since it actually is in line with most of my views on religion and the humor parts are fairly entertaining, but that's about all this book has going for it. 

Sigh, I did have high hopes for this one.
