Oh My Gosh!!!!
Yo. This book was so good. I’m kind of at a loss for word! all I can say is that I love the fact that it’s the woman who is the morally gray one, she’s also got a golden retriever kind of character kind of loopy, and funny, Dianna was, I mean a chefs kiss, kind of character. This enemies to lovers, slow burn of a book is so well done.
I’m not gonna leave any spoilers, everyone needs to experience this the way that I did . I went into this book blind with only a recommendation and a very glad that I did.
Dianna and Liam are just such complex characters. I love that a God King character was created in such a way that he’s so human. I mean there’s mental health representation, LGBTQIA+ representation, there is angst and pinning, the way that this character describes the FMC at about 80% of the book is worth reading the entire book.
One last thing that I must say is that the world building is really interesting I hope that the subsequent books will do more of that. This is a 10/10 book, run don’t walk!

This one took me SOOO long to get into. It got better in the very end. I’m currently reading the second book and I will say it makes up for the first book.

Look it was a long book. It didn’t feel that long in some parts, and in others it was dragging.
Never mind that, the characters are everything and that cliff hanger was horrendous.
