pretty good, but it's kind fo along the same lines in other books. But i can't wait for the next book anyway because of the ending. i am always a suck for cliff hangers.

I liked this book fine but it didn't wow me in any way. Nicholas is a pretty by-the-book alpha vampire and Sara is a solid, stand on her own two feet but damaged female heroine. Once again, the couple falls in everlasting love within days and a nice plot twist makes it all work out okay. I had some issues with the unique vampire language/terminology that Wright comes up with. It just didn't flow well for me and it took some time for them to sink in and feel like they fit with the narrative. Most of the main and supporting cast just kind of floated by me without making a real impact with the big exception of Lucian and Bronwyn. It's only hinted at in this book but they've GOT to be the third book in the series and I'll most likely keep reading just to get to them. Those two have sparks that I would have much preferred to see in Alexander and Sara.

Received for Review from Library Thing
Read: December 2010 (review posted late so not applicable to challenges)

What I Loved: The brothers (all 3 of them) were unique and interesting to read. The world is different enough from most I have read to set it apart from the ever growing number of PNR/UF worlds out there. The romance between the two leads was very unique and I think the angle that the author took was a very good choice for them. I am hoping for a little romance in the next books but this worked for these two characters.

What I Liked: A glimpse into the rest of the series. This world has many possibilities and it is easy to see where the future of the series can go. Getting to meet the characters and grow attached to them in the first book is one of my favorite things about series in general.

Complaints: The middle was a little repetitive at times but overall it did not distract from the story.

Why I gave it a 3.5: I felt the author was bold in giving her world a little twist and it was a little refreshing to see a new tweak on an old setting. Also just to note, I am one of those who often find the 1rst book in the series is my least favorite and if that is the case in this series I am excited because this was a good read.

Who I would recommend it to: PNR Readers and UF if you don't mind the HEA.

I don't really know how I feel about this book.. I think it could have been ALOT better. Alex could have been such a fantastic tortured hero but his past wasn't really talked about. It was mentioned in passing and thats about it. Think about how much better he could have been! Sadness. And then Sara... yeah.. i wasn't a huge fan of hers at all. Her whole life basically was just weird to me. She's worked her whole life to help her brother and then when Alex offers to help him she turns him down because then it won't be HER that saves him. How freakin selfish can ya be.

The romance was lacking too. I honestly just wasn't feeling this book. I will probably eventually read the next one.. When I'm bored and need a quick read.

An entertaining read. I am not running out to get the next book in the series, but I may get to it someday.

In many paranormal romance books, the hero has a tendency to be a billy bad ass who talks smack to everyone but his lady. Not so in Eternal Hunger. Every time Alexander smarted off to Sara, I wanted to jump up and doing a victory dance. He didn’t just walk the walk, he talked the talk, four letter words and all. It’s about time a guy acted Alpha and carried through with it! His attitude might rub some readers the wrong way, but I adored it.

Needed something a little more easier to read for a little bit and this fit the bill perfect!

Actually pretty good to read.

Your typical vampire tryung to find a mate plus baddies plus a lower/higher class system but the Roman brothers are pretty likeable. Taken a liking to Lucian (Luca) - has a very direct way of talking and thinks he's never gonna be the one to be tied down....

.....and I don't think we've seen the last of bronwyn in that respect either!!

Hopefully the series may carry on with the same catchiness or maybe get better. it's always a risk with long pnr series.

But I'll keep optomistic!
