the things lincoln did got too much for me. I simply didn't care for the relationship and honestly I feel like I have read it before and simply didn't care to finish.

I want to start this by saying that the book is good. I really like Monroe’s glow-up, but Lincoln is unhinged. I know he’s supposed to be, but his psychosis is almost too much when it’s in his pov. I also feel like the build up of Monroe falling in love was rushed and doesn’t feel relatable.

I would recommend this book, but it isn’t high on my book list.

Lincoln. Obsessed and possessed.

With an all consuming love between Lincoln and Monroe.

If it were any other book and MMC, I would not have liked this as much as I did. Lincoln being so obsessed from the get go was just insane but I couldn’t stop reading.

Monroe has had a rough life so far but she is also really driven and dedicated to herself. Always wanting to do better for herself. I love that.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I do feel it should have been marketed as a dark hockey romance versus just hockey that I had a bit more idea what I was  getting myself into.

That said the FMC was easy to connect to and start rooting for from the beginning. All I wanted was to see this girl win.

The MMC was a bit of a surprise like I said earlier I did not expect this to be dark romance. However, I enjoyed that he was instantly hooked and obsessed.
