I- wow. Angus definitely deserved what happened to him, but I found myself very frustrated with some of Taylor’s choices regarding her revenge plan. She was constantly described as smart and “well read”, but kept making rookie mistakes. The find my iPhone thing????

Nothing about this book surprised me

This book was quite challenging. I disliked both characters but couldn’t put it down. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

I was really enjoying this, but hated how much abuse and trauma was linked in without a content warning. Can we normalise these?
It undid any positive feelings I had for the book book because I was so caught off guard by the explicit nature of the abuse.

“Some love affairs change you forever. Someone comes into your orbit and swivels you on your axis, like the wind working on a rooftop weather vane. And when they leave, as the wind always does, you are different; and you have a new direction. And it’s not always north.” Taylor is dumped by her boyfriend Angus after a row and then she discovers he had posted sex tape on social media and taken his ex girlfriend on the skiing holiday they had planned. Taylor wants revenge. Then Angus comes back to her. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer ✨ Woahhh this book had me hooked. It was fast paced and was such an exciting read. I loved Taylor, at times I did want to shake sense into her though. Towards the end I was biting my bottom lip thinking she wouldn’t get away with it 🙈 8/10
