MC and

and then we're supposed to feel bad when the MC takes back some of her power and
deletes the recording
....so yeah. It was an immediate DNF to say the least. The lack of content warnings in the synopsis or anywhere on the book is upsetting considering the very sensitive and graphic material which is obviously going to be triggering for a lot of people.

Now I know first hand what "take the finger" means. And damn did they talk about cutting off her pinky a LOT, I kinda wanted it to happen by the end. The hero is a bad man, but for reasons. The heroine immediately provides a morality chain that he didn't expect. I loved the relationship between the brothers that was weirdly sweet for 2 mafia guys that do a lot of killing.

Good book predictable story line for me and I wasn't a huge fan of the three POVs but overall well written book.

A fantastically brilliant darkish mafia romance that is amazing and had sprinklings of everything I love. It was dark and dangerous and sexy and emotive. I loved every second of the book. I especially loved the complex characters like aleskio and Mira. The other characters stand on their own merits too wnd the complexity of each character is commendable of the author. When you read the book from Viktors point of view you do so in a Russian accent and this adds a whole new element and highlights how sucked into the story you have become. By the end I knew these characters, I loved these characters and was 100% invested. I can’t wait to read more

I’d say the only thing keeping me entertained while reading this was the (few) smutty scenes we got and the hero’s protectiveness over the heroine.

But other than that I found myself taking forever to get through it because I just didn’t care that much about the overall plot or its characters, unfortunately.

Mmmm mmmm!!!!!!! This was fast pace and steamy. And darkish not to dark.

Revenge and finding his baby brother that's what Aleksio is doing and he knows the man who knows where his brother is, only that man has a weak spot his old little friend Mira.. and when he kidnaps her and taught her father with threats to get his answer things get dirty and complicated fast. These two are fighting the attraction to one another and the outside world.  Even if Mira was a prisoner she did talk back showed some sass and was pretty smart on some stuff.  As for Aleksio I enjoyed him I do wish he was more alpha then he was like hurt my woman in fk you up type of way. I just wish he was more alphaish lol.

I'll be honest... I rather have non-con oral then have my finger cut off.. does that make me crazy yes yes it does
