This book was a shock to me. It's a lot of stuff I dont usually like in romances. I won't lie, I skimmed some sex scenes. Not for me. But overall, I really enjoyed it. The ending bothered me a bit though. Adding this book to my "series I need to finish" list because I need to know what happens next. And what's going on with Viktor. Hm.

I think this was my first dark romance and it was definitely dark, though I don't think nearly as bad as some dark romances. In fact, I'm pretty sure book two is going to go way darker. But I wish that I could know how the entire mafia plot was going to wrap up because I don't particularly want to read the next two books in this series.

I wanted to like it, i really did. But i did not find myself liking any of the characters. Aleksio was a bit alright? I guess. I don't know, it was sadly a book i was looking forward to finish and i will not be reading the second book. Predictable? Maybe, but i did'nt feel anything for them, not even Mira. All the way it was just ugh, suddenly he decided that he loved her, appearently...even though he hated her..? it all was just f'ed up. None of them spoke to me, and was way to winey for my taste. I also noticed that they cursed too much in the book, i know mafias are supposed to be cruel, badmouthed ect - but it felt like the cursing just was there, almost in every sentence. I wanted to like it, i really did... but i did not.
