I like how Simon ad Izzy's relationship is taking a while to figure out. I think that Simon made some mistakes while talking to Isabelle but I like that it took a while but they finally worked it out. It shows how they are human. I thought that the story at the end was very intriguing and a nice touch.

I love Simon and how he is portrayed. I think his character is witty and dorky and he is working out this new world in his own Simon way, which is entertaining to read about. I loved the action in these short stories.

3 1/2 stars

NOTE: NEVER EVER EVER EVER EEEEVER TAKE DATING ADVICE OR IDEAS FROM A HERONDALE BOY.... EVER. ESPECIALLY JACE *laughing hysterically* *face palm*

ONTO THE REVIEW:

"...blood doesn't define you. What defines you is the choices you make."

"DATE NUMBER THREE, ANOTHER OF MY GENIUS IDEAS: DOUBLE DATE WITH CLARY AND JACE. WHICH MAYBE WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE, EXCEPT FOR HOW CLARY AND JACE ARE MORE IN LOVE THAN ANY PEOPLE IN LOVE IN THE HISTORY OF LOVE, AND HOW I'M PRETTY SURE THEY WERE PLAYING FOOTSIE UNDER THE TABLE, BECAUSE THERE WAS THAT ONE TIME WHEN JACE STARTED RUBBING HIS FOOT AGAINST MY LEG BY ACCIDENT. (I THINK BY ACCIDENT?) (IT BETTER HAVE BEEN BY ACCIDENT.)"

bahahahahahahahahahhahaha now THAT I can picture and the awkwardness coming mainly on Jace's end.....

Okay, so since I read this last year and ONLY got up to this story in my eBook collection, I'll admit I kinda forgot about them after awhile and decided to start over with the first 6 for refreshers of what's happening. But also thank goodness Overdrive had the audiobook compilation for them for the whole set! woot woot!

so I'm making this 3 1/2 stars just cause I can still see and remember why I didn't like this as much and I still didn't like it as much the 2nd time through. but still fun. it felt kinda "random" and irrelevant but I can see it was more of Izzy and Simon coming to terms, communicating etc. But I'm just glad Sizzy is back yay!!!

I DID however like a few things about it:

*first and foremost GEORGE FREAKING LOVELACE *laughing* I forgot how much I loved George

*the true story of Andrew Blackthorn's love for the Faerie who became the mother of Helen and Mark

And last but not least.....

*Izzy taking dating advice from Jace bahahahahahahaha I about DIED and thought she should know better to never ask Jace for ANY type of advice......

So overall, not my favorite tbh and felt rushed but it was still good. :)

This satisfied not only me, but every single Sizzy shippers in the entire world (well, not really 'cause after this I just want more and more but after the event in CoHF, this makes me feel so much better). I love it! Just love it! Oh, I am so fill with joy and happiness right now. Anyone of you who is a Sizzy shipper and haven't read this yet, I recommend it, I highly recommend it.
After reading City of Heavenly Fire, I hated faeries because of an event, that I'm still denying, happened. But then I read this and I acctually feel really bad and sorry for the Fey Folks (exept Meliorn and Queen of Seelie Court, of course). Poor those people, they didn't deserve it. And the story Cassie told at the end, it was heart breaking.

This nouvella is awesome! It goes back to when Arthur and Andrew blackthorn were captured by faeries. It gives us details to what happened to them and why nephilim do not trust the faeries. It also tells us a history of Mark and Helen blackthorn.

I dislike how shadowhunters treat downworlders especially to what they did to Helen and Mark Blackthorn.

Another things that i love in this nouvella are Simon and Izzy, they are so awkward together that it is so funny.
