This story has such a sad ending. I feel so sorry for Helen and Mark and the innocent fairies that the cold peace has affected. Izzy and Simons dates sound hilarious and I would love to be a fly on the wall at some of them. George is a good friend, compleatly loyal to Simon. I still can't believe they think it's okay to treat innocent people the way they do.

Sizzy!!! I love them so much! This was the story I've been waiting for! On a sadder note, poor Helen. The Clave is messed up! They just as bad as Valentine but at least, as Izzy said in Shadowhunters, "Valentine had the guts to tell downworlders to their face that he hates them."

LOVED this Novella. Not only did I truly enjoy the story within the story with that AMAZING ending which sort of rips your heart in two for how sad this tale is, but I loved how the majority of the story focused on the present and on the struggling relationship between Isabella and Simon. Getting to spend so much time with these characters was truly a delight and I'm looking forward to reading more of the series. This has been my favorite so far of the novellas in the series. I'm wondering if Clare and her many partners can top it.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm very much over Simon and Izzy's relationship drama but hey now it's concluded? I admire Simon for his constant efforts to fight for Downworlder rights though, and the date idea from Jace is my humourous highlight from this short story. The end of the story is jarring and tragic, its conclusion makes me want to scream why but marvel at the genius of it at the same time.

Principle characters. PRINCIPLE characters. Really? Really, Walker-the-publisher? Really, Amazon? Is there no one out there checking these things?

I don't even.

This chapter was actually pretty decent, but I am still annoyed by this atrocious misspelling / homophone mistake in the book description.

*shakes head over the state of publishing today*

Oh Helen, this is such a sad story and the ending confused me. Why are there always two sides to a story? That makes decisions so hard!
