I really enjoy Stacy's writing, I've read all of her books and this one was another gripping story. Only If You're Lucky takes us on a dual timeline journey of Margot, whose best friend Eliza passed away the summer before they were set to venture off to college together at Rutledge.

A year later, Margot finds herself friends with Lucy, Sloane, and Nicole. Lucy being the leader of the trio, and soon the closest to Margot.

Margot doesn't understand what Lucy sees in her. Lucy is popular, outgoing. Margot is serious, shy. When Lucy asks her to move in with her and the girls, Margot doesn't question her luck. Things couldn't be better for Margot until Levi Butler shows up at Rutledge - the boy she suspects is responsible for her best friends death.
And then, Levi is dead and Lucy is missing.

This story is told from Margots POV, and bounces between before & after - taking us on a thrilling, suspense filled ride and lots of twists, turns, and secrets you wouldn't suspect or see coming. Once you think you know the answer, there's more surprises.

If you're into thriller reads and are fans of Stacy's previous books, please add this on to your TBR! I really enjoyed it and will be thinking of this story for a bit!

[RECOMMENDATION] For fans of stories with "it" girls, with a darker twist - Pretty Little Liars comes to mind.

[SYNOPSIS] Lucy is THAT girl. She's magnetic, everyone wants to be around her. Margot... not so much. Margot is very much the best friend of the main character. However, Lucy notices her and brings her into her inner circle of close friends. So now Margot is living off-campus wit her, and two more other *chosen* girls, all orbiting Lucy's star energy.

Margot is dealing with some past trauma, as her bestie in high school died not too long after they graduated. And in current times, a frat boy from next door has been brutally murdered and now Lucy is missing.

[REVIEW] I thoroughly enjoyed how this was an interesting thriller, but with an interwoven story of friendship and the dark sides of what you'd do to feel like you belong. It kept me guessing, and intrigued, throughout. It was a bit slow paced for me in the beginning, but picked up in pace as I read.

[This book was gifted from Netgalley & Minotaur Books, thank you! All opinions are my own.]

Loved this book. Sucked me right in from the very beginning. I regret that I put this book off for so long.
