Overall, a better story than Pippi Goes On Board. She's far less obnoxious as the trio travels to Koratuttutt and lives the native life.

Well, this one certainly aged worse than the other ones. Especially if you have an old version which has not yet removed the usage of the N-word. It's definitely a bit racist, not in bad faith but it's still there.

Only so-so. Honestly, I couldn't get passed all the "little black children" references. Lots of read aloud editing. Ouch. Otherwise, a typical Pippi book, which the girls find hilarious.

I enjoyed the first Pippi book. This had some fun moments and it didn't really draw me in the same way. It is strange Pippi would choose to live separate from her father. Pippi is a strong and fun character. I enjoy that about her. Maybe children would enjoy it more than an adult.
