Do yourselves a favor and read this poetry collection. This is definitely a topic I sadly didn't know about. We're so dependent on technology, and admire all the techies out there who code, program, engineer, create, etc., and rightfully so. Yet, we never give credit to those who expose themselves to dangerous working conditions just to manufacture the microchips we need for our gadgets. Of course, this type labor -- menial, physically taxing, potentially life-threatening labor -- is done by immigrant women, who, according to the author, have truly built Silicon Valley. America's ghost writers, indeed.
