Nice quick FBI Agent x Vigilante read. It was giving Batman lol
It didn’t go into much detail about some things I felt needed it in order to make the characters relatable, but this was a short book so I didn’t really expect that anyway!

I really enjoyed this however I felt this was a little short. Everything was revealed so quickly and then it was just bam, bam, bam! I would have liked a little bit more depth.

i was FOOLED by the roaring reviews claiming how amazing and well-written this story was. it almost like a gender-reversed version of the mindfuck series by s.t. abby, but didn't quite meet the mark. to me, the book was simply lackluster and unorganized. there was so much going on, the characters were unlikeable and unrelatable, and the male main character wasn't attractive whatsoever to me. i couldn't stop visualizing him as this creepy old man, which was a major turnoff.

i'm pondering whether or not this book may have been more enjoyable if it were a full-length novel. events and scenes felt rushed and forced.

if you're interested in this book, just read the mindfuck series. it's actually captivating and organized, unlike this hot mess of a novella.

This book read like someone's mum got a little too horny watching Criminal Minds and thought "how hard could it be to write a book?" and then a publishing company was dumb enough to indulge them.

This was a surprisingly good but short read. Even though it was quite short it really did manage to pack in quite a lot of character development and a pretty good plot as well as some really good spice. I have to say I'm quite impressed with this one.
