Notes: The 3rd in the "The Improbable Meet-Cute" novella series (6 stand-alone novellas released around Valentine's Day 2024), this one wasn't a favorite among the bunch. The entirety of it takes place basically in one room (the FMC gets herself stuck somewhere and the MMC is on the other side keeping her calm). Didn't have enough plot or character development (while acknowledging that this is a novella, it's still possible to do more!).

"Mr. Husband, I can't tell you how long we've been waiting for you to show up."

I started this book on a mid expectation but sadly, it wasn’t really reached. I get where the author was coming from where she just wanted to justify this hot and dreamy fireman with respect to his job but damn, I just wanted to stop after reading the word dreamboat more than a few times than it should have been mentioned. It’s pretty cliché and this is just one couple that I’m not sure would last especially seeing how Rosie’s self-confidence is lacking.

I’m glad I saved this one for last! It was super cute and funny. I loved the instant connection Rosie had with Leo and the fact they had the exact same sense of humour.

The mutual bonding because they were faceless to each other and the way they handled it with jokes was great. I thought the ending was super sweet and just overall a nice finish to the series for me!
