ReDawn was such a great book! The story, the politics, the characters, and THE SLUGS! Damn, I love these slugs.

Exploring another planet and culture through the eyes of a non-human was so interesting! I love how much detail Brandon Sanderson puts into the world building without it feeling overwhelming or unnecessary. The fact that the planet is a GAS GIANT is honestly even cooler.

I love getting more time with the Skyward Flight, especially seeing FM, Rig, and Jorgan more. I also loved getting to know Alanik and seeing her interact with the humans. However, my favorite characters are definitely the slugs. If you know you know.

I’m absolutely loving this series, and can’t wait to read the rest! 4.5 stars.

It was so interesting to see this world from another non-human perspective. Also, to know more about some of the alien worlds and species. I loved the further character development for all the Skyward flight, and Alanik was very intriguing as well.

I loved this second novella for Skyward. We got to learn so much about a different species and hear a completely different perspective. While Alanik doesn’t have my favourite personality in the series, it was nice to see her motivations and her planet. Can’t wait to continue with the story! Love this world!
