The perfect end to the Bertha Boys and this series. I loved the balance between improving mental health and a healthy relationship.

The only think keeping this from being spicier, is that they have to be physically separated by thousands of miles in order to keep there hand to themselves.

This one is probably my favorite of the Bertha Boys books. Xander is so flawed and broken, and yet so loveable. He just needs to be needed and loved. Derek is the perfect partner for him, and yet he knows he shouldn't pursue him. He could lose everything he's worked so hard for in his career if he pursues a relationship with Xander, yet he can't seem to walk away.

Xander's snark and self-deprecating humor speak to me, as it has always been my M.O. when talking about myself for many, many years. I may not have the intense issues that he has, but I do have my own trauma and I have always approached it in the same way. It rang true in a lot of ways and was very nicely done by the author. The walls one puts up to protect oneself from hurt by using this type of humor or pessimism are very real and there are usually some very big issues hiding behind them.

Derek gave Seven and Molly the permission they needed to finally stop walking on eggshells around Xander as well, so he saved them, too. The family dynamic they all establish was heartwarming.

I will miss these characters, but I am so glad they all got their HEAs. Every one of them deserved so much love. I loved Aggie, too! Heck, even Kismet got a new lease on life. HA!
