Loved it! Such a great end to the series! I had all of the emotions while listening to this. It was also emotional, but I really loved that part. Xander and Derek are everything and I loved listening to their journey toward their HEA.

I put this book off for a few days and I half wish I’d waited even longer. Minus the outward catastrophizing and purposeful rudeness (mine is typically incidental), I see so much of myself in Xander I actually put my head down and cried at one point. I’m so not ready to let the Bertha Boys go, but I know even good things have to come to an end.
This book is not for the faint of heart when it comes to mental health, but the growth was so worth the read. Rush is still my favorite Bertha Boy as my fellow ADHDer, but I think Xander just overtook Gabe for a close second place as my fellow anxiety babe. And all the swoons over Derek, he had principles of steel compared to what I expected.
I’m drowning in my own tears at this point. Please hydrate before you read this book (especially the end) if you’re an emotional bucket like I am. And be prepared for a possible headache. It’s almost 3 AM, I’m gonna go lay down now after reading this book straight through in about four hours. Dammit Saxon, how do you make me love every book you write? All the stars.
