“The smart thing would be for us to end this stupid pretend friendship and go our separate ways. To move on. Forget the other person exists. But when I’m with Xander, I don’t want to be smart. He feels like mine. He acts like mine.”

(ENG) We've reached the end of the series, and I'm going to miss all the Bertha boys so much. I just couldn't help getting attached to all of them.
Saxon left for last and I was really looking forward to the story of Xander, who I think is the favourite of all of us who have read the books. I guess this might have played against me in this reading.
The characters are so beautifully written, the narration is perfect, and the way the author handled the mental health issue was just what I expected from her.
The epilogue was the perfect ending for the series, leaving me with a warm, fuzzy feeling.
If you haven't read these books yet, I highly recommend checking them out!

Is saying "it's too realistic" weird?
I mean building the tension around "I can only half date you because of my job sort off" is strange and not tension I like.
I expected it too be more fun.

How I Rate Books
I rate based on resonance, re-readability, and whether the book randomly resurfaces in my thoughts.
⭐ 1 – Nothing stayed or DNF. Wouldn’t recommend.
⭐⭐ 2 – A flicker, but no fire. Finished out of curiosity or willpower.
⭐⭐⭐ 3 – Just good. Enjoyed it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 – It clung in soft ways. Worth a revisit.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 – Lives in me now

I'm so glad that Zander finally got his HEA.  What a good wrap up to the series
