Trope: He fell first
Tree is super sweet, but when everyone asks why you like a girl, don't find multiple ways to say she's beautiful before moving on to other attributes.

1st: Umm... male ego alert. When your woman is in pain and danger, you don't let your ego put you in a dangerous position. You let your well trained buddies handle the threat.
2nd: The end is setting up for some major adoption trauma. Keeping biological father information from a child is a major NO. The fact that both Darby and Trex are happy about this plan is super sad in this day and age. Baby doesn't need all the nitty-gritty details right away, but she deserves to know who her biological father is. THEN all the details aren't necessary, but the truth of her parentage is. Adoption is nothing to be ashamed of... especially in this scenario!
