Brilliant book. Once again Matt Haig has triumphed in his book writing skills.

This book is so interesting, the way things are explained and described from the perspective another wordly creature is fantastic.

It has you questioning why certain things are the way they are and wondering what you would think if you were new to earth.

It has some hard hitting discussions in and it's a real eye opener. Brilliantly written.

Two and a half stars.

I read this book cause I liked Matt Haig and I loved the Radleys however I just felt this book didn't live up to the hype and expectations of the Radleys. It was still a fun story and well written but I preferred the other story. If you're a fan obviously give it a read.

It has some funny elements which make it a fun read.

I really enjoyed this title! I always end up going back to it. This is one book I could read multiple times and never get bored of it. The character development of the alien, and how their relationships with the people around them develop is well paced!

I like how the ending isn't necessarily a happy one. The main character chooses their path and still has to face the consequences for everything that takes place.

The conversations between the alien and the humans in his life make some of the best parts of the book!
