I loved the background lore of the universe this story unfolds in - though the constant introduction of new names and languages can be a bit tedious if you're not into that. I thought the main character was delightfully witty and sassy despite his morally grey background. I laughed audibly quite a few times. I did find their adventure started to feel a bit long maybe 60% of the way through but it wrapped up more quickly after that.
