The ending was... satisfactory. A lot of time was spent between Miki and Yuu and them both being miserable. They then decided that - hey! Incest is... okay? Then the whole affair is explained to them when they tell/ask their parents, which they should have done a long time ago! Though Yuu does get slapped...
I enjoyed this series so much when I was younger, and re-reading it now so many years later, it still holds up, for the most part. It's charming and cute - a lovely story. Well worth reading, if you're a teenager (or older!).
