Punk 57 tells the story of Ryen and Misha who write letters to each other from with grade until high school. However, the teachers did not realise Ryen was a girl and Misha was a boy but the two continued to write each-other. They were perfect... until they met

This one took me a little to get into but I'm glad I persisted. I dropped a star simply because I had to read a good 120-130 pages or so before things really started to pick up. Until then I really wasn't sure where this book was supposed to go. I was told Punk 57 was a heavy bully romance but I didn't find that to be the case at all. Yeah there are some questionable actions and choices but I didn't read repeated bullying on either character's part as I expected.

Looking for a good high-school romance with a few light twists pick this up!

Her falling out of love with the guy she loves & in love with the guy she hates is one thing. Them being the same guy undercover…That’s just doing too much 😂

I am still somewhere between four and five stars. That is because I had some issues with both the main characters in the beginning. However, the plot is thrilling, the ending is just mind-blowing and unexpected (at least to me) and I truly enjoyed reading this novel.

Angsty as promised. Though well written, I have come to terms that I am done with YA angst books. I understand for that age group the drama they face is very real to them but as an adult, it can be tough to read.
The characters are well-developed with good backstories. The spice is definitely on the older adult side of spice and slightly descriptive. So, though this is a YA cast, it reads more for a new adult audience.
I think my fave characters were J.D. and Ten because they seemed to be the most honest and authentic people in the groups and that is saying something. Did appreciate the final "prank".
