It started out really strong, but then.... ya lost me.
I skipped, skimmed, and DNF-ed more than I wanted to, unfortunately :/
But the thing is, I love anthologies! They're a great way to find new authors to love, so I was really excited for this, but ........ dam. not what I was expecting.
The first couple of stories was good but then by the 3rd or 4th story, I started skimming and skipping. Then, by the time we got to a story of unabashed incest, I was like HOLDUP what??! I put it down and had to take a break.
I want to check out the other stories, just to give them a chance, and just to finish the anthology, but who knows if there will be a redeeming story in this downhill landslide.

Mors Indecepta by Yolanda Olson & C.A. Rene
YESSS!! Give me all the taboo vamps! This one has a revenge plot with it. I didn't know much about it going in, but it did not disappoint. The writing was beautiful and seamless, I couldn't tell two people were writing.
Blood Discipline by C.A. Rene & R.E. Bond
These two! They always put out magic with a side of humor. It is a short MM story with an hea. There were a few times I could not stop laughing at Nico. I loved Nico and X!
