This series has a lot of potential, if you ask me. The first issue starts out a little weird, but once they go back to the beginning and actually start explaining what’s going on…well I won’t say that it makes sense (the characters don’t seem to understand what’s going on, so I certainly don’t expect to) but it does become a more compelling story.
I think I’ll need to read another issue or two to be certain of how I feel about it. It’s going to entirely depend on how they lay out the rest of the plot, and how they explain the…phenomenon that’s occurring.

I suspect that I ordered this because the premise intrigued me and after reading it: the premise intrigues me. But, as happens too often in issue #1s for my taste, it didn't materially advance beyond the premise. Knowing how often I dislike #1s, I'm still on board, but I hope to feel like I understand things more after I read #2.
