An easy read, I finished this in one day. Similar to many modern day murder-mysteries, secrets and dark pasts are constantly hinted at before being revealed almost at the same time. There is a twist that some readers will see coming, but the resolution isn’t all that shocking. The setting is great, and knowing the area of Garda relatively well it was nice to be able to imagine the surroundings, and the characters are relatively simple and uncomplicated. Not the most ground-breaking of books, but a quick, easy mystery to pass the time without too much thought.
