it's 4am and my brain is turning into mush but i loved this book! layla and the trio have so much chemistry, plus i related to layla's struggles a lot. definitely enjoyed reading. i wish the guys had groveled more though. but maybe i'm just a tiny bit more spiteful than layla is lol

4 stelle!

Reverse harem con friends to lovers.

I absolutely devoured this book. To be completely honest I wasn’t expecting this level of sensitivity that was brought to the discussion around the topics of bullying and harassment. It was a really refreshing and downright spicy and hot book that didn’t become gimmicky or flat at any point for me.

I loved the non toxicity of the whole arrangement and even the third act conflict was, in my opinion, really well justified and real. The emotions of each character in the book was so well taken care of, I’m in love!!

Why did this book change my mind?!

I’ll be honest, I didn’t want to read this but enough people that I trust gave it a fantastic rating and I couldn’t handle the FOMO.

First off, Jade West’s Sugar Daddies went down as the only book that could meet my needs on this topic, even though it’s a completely different story. This is right up there with it, in terms of quality.

Secondly, I don’t always vibe with British settings, it’s feels cold and distant sometimes. This felt absolutely neither.

This book gave me all the emotions running through my veins. You know that heartbreak feeling in your arms, chest and then your stomach drops? That is my sign that the book affected me and I had it so many times. I love that feeling even though it’s usually tied to some awful point in the story that kills you. But that is where I know I’m invested and totally caught up.

The characters and story are amazing. There is a reason this book is so popular and it’s not just great sex. Do it! Read it!
