Meh. I'm regretting this romance streak. Feel gross, all boring storylines. Think I'll take a break.

ngl i was doing great while reading it, and i was going through the pages so fast but then they annoyed me so much that i’ve been stalling while reading it. but tbh the 3 stars is for layla and that i enjoyed the first half of the book, but i hated the fact that they screwed my bby layla over and did what they did. and then she forgives them??? like come on layla u deserve better, but then tbh i enjoyed the book, but thank god i finally finished it but it was a nice read, but hated that it was a happy ending because they deserved to be miserable for what they’ve did to layla

This book will always been a 5* read. Incredible

This was…. Definitely something. And look, I’m not one to kink/relationship shame. But what the fuck?? Did I still read the whole thing? Of course.

this was surprisingly cute. i really liked all the characters, and their flaws felt realistic. a great mix of sweet and spicy.

If you're wanting to start reading RH books but don't know where to start, I'd recommend this book. I enjoyed the book so much. I hadn't read a RH book before but this might just have gotten me hooked! I really enjoyed the heart and connection the characters had in the book. The spicy scenes were top tier and VERY SPICY. I enjoyed that even though it is a RH book there was plot and character development, and very sweet and tender moments between the characters. Will definitely try reading other books by the author!

Now with spoilers:

The individual growth these characters have to do throughout the book is very interesting. I honestly really did think for a second that the Layla would end up with Josh only. Especially after both Luke and Zack mess up BIG TIME. Now maybe I'm soft but in a way Zack felt the one I saw coming would fuck up and I also knew I'd forgive it because of his grief which he clearly hasn't dealt with. He has the most visible trauma with the dead fiance story. I did not expect Luke to just so suddenly decide he also wasn't ready to be in a real relationship because of how he might lose it all again. I know for the ~plot Amy his ex had to talk badly about Layla for their fight to really blow up. But it did feel sudden compared to Zack. I do forgive it because it made sense and was I think a better motivator for ending it than the things he'd been saying to himself when he didn't want to start/join in. Josh's mess up was honestly not that bad considering that even Layla agreed she'd have run for the hills rather than start what they started knowing Josh had feelings for her. I do wish we'd gotten more of Luke talking about his issues on the podcast the way we heard Zack. Ultimately I do think I'd have forgiven them, the way they asked for forgiveness was cute and they thankfully acknowledged their mistakes in this and helped clear up Layla's name. Overall super cute story and when I picked it up I was obsessed immediately and didn't want to put it down.

Came for the smut, stayed for the potential revenge story. While I liked the podcast and entrepreneurial lingerie tidbits, I wasn't as drawn to the characters nor drama compared to Triple-Duty Bodyguards.
