Couldn't connect with the characters. I found the plot excruciatingly boring. It was like a bad porno where all the acting scenes were drawn out. Everything was contrary. Main female supposedly is lacking in social skills and sexuality, but makes several quips and has random bursts of confidence. Couldn't even keep reading it by skipping over the long drawn out "plot".

Not gonna lie... I hated this read. I was bored out of my mind. The smut was decent enough to keep me reading and I didn't quite DNF, but man... I was really tempted to toss this book and continue on to something different. But "gots to see it through my boiii".
This does have remnants of New Girl, the TV show. Which is why I gave this read a shot; being a reverse harem WITH forced proximity. Two of my main chokehold tropes.
But yeah no... HARD pass. I stuck with it due to determination and spice, but even when I closed the book at the end... I swallowed the lump of disdain lodged in my throat. I'm talking this book almost made me go into a slump. I said what I said.

wanted an easy and fun read and i gave so much more : the spice, the angst, the characters and their relationship altogether is chefs kiss
i also really liked the fact that the spice was not the plot of the book and that there was a real story and background to each character
it was my first RH and i highly recommend !

Honestly this book was not that good. I skimmed a good chunk of it, including the steamy parts, and it could've been so much shorter. Maybe poor writing, I'm not sure but not a good book imo.
cute! slow at parts but i loved the characters and how they worked together
The writing style wasn’t my favourite to begin with but the characters were very cute. Loved the story, 4 stars for me!
