Such a short novella im not sure it actually counts as a book—but enjoyable nonetheless.

Pretty cute little snippet of an 'everyday' problem solved by Charlotte Holmes of the the Lady Sherlock series by Sherry Thomas. Because this is a short bit of writing, I am writing about the series overall instead of this soupçon.
I enjoyed Sherlock Holmes, and like to read those books written in the same style, or inspired by Holmes, or even different stories about alternate Sherlock types. I am hooked on this series, and have really liked what I have read so far.
The writing style is pretty unusual, and I have to read carefully to make sure I am thoroughly understanding what is happening. The series is very intoxicating.

A nice fun short story in the Lady Sherlock series. Only a few pages long, but totally in keeping with what we know about Charlotte and Mrs Watson.

A pretty little puzzle is brought to Charlotte Holmes when Mrs. Gleason brings a box that she cannot open. A few moments observation shows Charlotte and Mrs. Watson that Mrs. Gleason is downtrodden by the illnesses and death in her family. Charlotte soon convinces the poor woman to take some charge of her life, to do what she wants in regards to the illness of a dear friend.
A sweet little tale. 4 out of 5.

I only read it because it was a 2 minute story. And still not great. Disappointing how they opened the box.
