More of the same.
Now... I must say... even though I know the formula. Even though I see what is coming down the track... I am enthralled. I love Jacob. I do. I guess this means I am a part of Camp Jacob.
Oh... and on a purely writing note. When Edward leaves, and Bella sinks, you turn the page and you just find blank pages. Then there is one word on the next page; October. I turn the page and see another month passing, November. As I turn pages i really got the gut punch feeling of her being depressed. Impressive.
But again, the emotion is pretty over the top. "Holding herself in." I didn't like that description.

Someone please get Bella therapy 👏👏👏👏👏
The best twilight character is introduced in this one: Gianna the human secretary for the Volturi. She's the reason for both stars.
I realized at the end despite being kinda boring i was having a pretty ok time with this book and then Alice Cullen came back and my mood immediately soured. The cullens are a plague. They're so nasty to Bella, get a job stay away from her! That phrase could honestly be used for all of Bella's love interests and their immediate circles 😂

"Antes de você, Bella, minha vida era como uma noite sem lua. Muito escuro, mas havia estrelas, pontos de luz e razão. ... E então você disparou pelo meu céu como um meteoro. De repente, tudo estava pegando fogo; havia brilho, havia beleza. Quando você se foi, quando o meteoro caiu no horizonte, tudo ficou preto. Nada havia mudado, mas meus olhos estavam cegos pela luz. Eu não conseguia mais ver as estrelas. E não havia mais razão para nada."
I know, I know...but it was only $4 for my kindle, and I was bored.

As much as I love twilight, this would have to be my least favourite book in the series. The story seemed so dull without Edward around, and I was cringing at how Bella led Jacob on despite having no romantic interest in him.
Bella would not have met the Volturi if Edward hadn't left and the story would not be able to progress to the subsequent books, but I think a more interesting storyline could have been created to introduce Bella to the Volturi.
The entire novel just seemed to be full of filler. This is one of the rare moments when I believe a movie adaption actually outshined a book.
