Okay...I'd still say I enjoyed this book but definitely not as much as the first. The characters annoyed me a bit too much. Mostly Sophie if I'm being honest.

For a self-proclaimed feminist, she sure does make a lot of digs at other women. "Leia's the only princess I respect". Gross. Take the internalized misogyny elsewhere. It's all "I wear sneakers, not heels. I like Star Wars, not Disney Princesses. I like burgers, not salad". You're not like other girls, we get it. Maybe grow up and find another personality trait.

(Also the constant comments from everyone about how small she was gave me the ick but that wasn't really her fault)

That makes it sound like I completely hated her but I don't. Those stupid comments just really got on my nerves. I admired how she set boundaries and stood up for herself. She's knows her worth and that's something to be proud of. I liked her character development and her growth as a person for sure.

Liam irritated me as well but that's just because he's an idiot.

Overall, I enjoyed it and I'll be getting the physical copy eventually but I'm not nearly as likely to reread it as I am the first one.

As I was suspecting I enjoyed this one much more than the first book, I loved the fact that Liam and Sophie formed a friendship (although sometimes I felt like Liam didn't quite respect Sophie's boundaries) before everything, because to me that resolved much of Liam's issues. Also I was a big fan of the plot around the list. The only aspect I felt was lacking is the supposed best-friendship between Liam and Jax, it's mentioned quite a few times during the books but I didn't feel like it was reflected on paper (I'm currently ar the beginning of Wrecked and it seems  that it might be more prominent on that book), I feel like the only important character developing moments Liam had were either with Sophie or his family and it would have been nice to feature Jax a bit more seeming as the next book on the series has him as a protagonist.
Overall a great sequel,

this was a good read! second in the "dirty air series" and honestly i have no complaints. classic bad boy x good girl with a cheeky streak trope. lauren asher went off yet again, this whole series is fr my holy grail.

There was some minor fatphobia at the end which is just so! annoying! as a fat reader but overall I really enjoyed this book.

2.75

2,75 stars I liked Liam in theory but he just really annoyed me. If the author had SHOWED more of the person she TOLD us Liam was I would have liked him much better.

I’d love a book about his brother and Johanna and about his parents. His parents remind me of my aunt and uncle who are just as lovey dovey as his parents are it’s cute even though I pretend to be grossed out.

Anyway I know I’m giving this 2,75 stars but I did read this in a day so I guess I have to say I was hooked.
