For only 1 hr and 52 min boy was this book chocked full of detail and fun loving characters! I grew up watching the movie and had always wanted to read the book so I’d say it was a good first audiobook to start off with! Plus the author narrated and let me tell you it made all the difference!!

I gave this a 4 star because honestly I was a smidge dismayed at how fast of a read it was, I just feel there could have been more added. But regardless this book and its movie will always be a favorite of mine!

Choose the audio version of this book to listen to on a road trip through Alabama. The book was so much fun. It is the type of book that makes you smile. A great reflection of life in a small town in Alabama...and a fun mystery too. ;)
