Aurora is bland and boring. This story is bland and boring. There is nothing in this novel that makes me want to get to know Aurora better or to delve in to her life. Except maybe to force her to stop describing her dull outfits in so much detail and to take charge of her life instead if just having it happen to her. Likewise, I'd love to shake Charlaine Harris until she swears never to write another inane sentence about a protagonist having to watch her calories. For crying out loud, already!

Really enjoyed this book. It was a different type of story compared to the other books in the series. She solved a case involved with the house she ended up purchasing. I didn't see the results of this story ending the way it did.
A quick and easy to read mystery. I like how Roe is developing as a character although I could still slap her upside the head for the rushed marriage.

Finally starting to get a bit deeper into some of the characters and this one had a good mystery.
Quick and fun (and in this case I don't mean quick by just my standards, these 200 pages flew by in only a portion of my sunny afternoon). In this novel, Roe solves a murder that is 6 years old, while at the same time figuring out how to live with her new husband and accustoming herself to living with bodyguards. I really should learn to read books in order, the last one I read must have been number 7 or 8 in the series...
