I want to thank CE RICCI for letting me be part of her ARC team.
This book was everything I ever wanted. After reading her lastest release Head Above Water I knew that she was definitely one of my all-time favorite authors. Every book that CE Ricci writes is so good. I don’t think she could ever write something that I wouldn’t like. This is her 5th full novel and I’m impressed!
The story follows two best friends Keene and Aspen they grew up together and went to college. Two years before they were dare to kiss and keene felt something for Aspen. Keene starts to question his sexuality and has a hard time dealing with it for the next two years without telling Aspen about it. One day they go to a party and are dared to kiss again but Keene chickens out and Aspen get upset. He eventually tells Aspen why he can't kiss him and they came up with a solution to find out if Keene is into men or not.
I loved these two together it was so cute the way they both truly cared for one another. I highly recommend!
Can wait to read more from her.
thank you!

Low 3 stars
I skimmed the end because, really, aspen didn’t deserve to be forgiven.

I gave this book 4⭐️. However, I almost went with a 3⭐️ because the ending is so rushed and frankly unbelievable with what we know of the characters. No spoilers, so it is hard to explain. I loved Aspen and Keene. But the non-fleshed out ending did a total disservice to the characters and left me greatly disappointed with the book. It could have been the same story if only a few more chapters were added in the summer at the end.
