⚾️ Friends to Lovers
⚾️ Opposites Attract
⚾️ It Was Only A Kiss
5/5 🌟
5/5 🌶
These two ripped my heart out and stomped all over it before picking it back up and stitching it back together again. Figuring out their love was always part of the friendship had me swooning.
The best part of figuring yourself out, is trying all the positions. We are just here for the spicy spicy ride.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first three quarters of this book. Watching a romance evolve in this story was addicting. The romantic tension holds strong throughout the story. This was actually part of what lost me a little. The tension was almost too much. After awhile, I couldn't empathize with Aspen's struggles with his views on relationships. Keene has accepted his changing interests and evolved. Aspen is just stuck.
It's one thing to dislike labels. Virtually nobody wants to be identified by one label for their entire life. Being short is a description, not a definition. I feel the same way about being short as I do about being demisexual, it's a description, not a destiny. I really wish the term demisexual had at least been hinted at. Sigh.
I am not picking apart this book because I disliked it. I am overanalyzing because I enjoyed the first three quarters so much. I will definitely be reading more books by CE Ricci.
