This could have been HOURS shorter. We hashed and rehashed and rehashed the same conversations through inner monologues without actually talking about what we needed to each other.

The voice over actors were amazing and loved listening to them but kind of hate listened through the middle due to that repetition.

I really enjoyed the friendship between Keene and Aspen. You could feel how much they cared about each other and I loved that.

My one complaint is that I wish the confrontation with Avery didn’t happen offscreen. I feel like that plot point was wasted in the end. There was a lot of groundwork and foreshadowing laid down with Avery but when the moment came where a confrontation was necessary all we got were a few paragraphs explaining away what happened. If it was a matter of the length of the book then there’s a bit of unnecessary “fluff” that could have been removed to make room.

No matter how controversial it sounds, I think friends to lovers is my favorite trope.
