The story and characters were ok, but the art was beautiful! Wisteria seemed to have a little crush on Elena too and it was really cute. Worldbuilding and stakes are minimal, the story is very cozy.

I’d argue the fairy designs and themes around community are perfect for fans of the Tinkerbell movies.

Such a whimsical little graphic novel! It brought a smile to my lips in the very first page, and it stayed right there even after I'd finished this tale.

Little garden sprite Wisteria is a newbie in Sylvan Trace, where all the other sprites seem to have already grown tightly knit. Feeling a sad about the fact that she can't seem to fit in with everyone else, Wisteria decides to visit the garden everyone thinks has been ruined by humans: Meadowgreen, where a young human called Elena is trying her best to bring her mum's little garden back to life. Moved by the girl's efforts, Wisteria decides to use her magic to try and help her. When Elena finds out about Wisteria, and the fact that the sprite is the actual reason why the garden is now thriving, the two agree to cooperate to make the garden as pretty as it could be.

The gorgeous artwork was what lured me in in the first place. Each sprite has been drawn in the style of a different plant or flower, which made it really aesthetically pleasing to take my time to look at each character individually. With smooth, flowy curved lines and warm pastel colours, this comic was a sight for sore eyes! It's the kind of pretty art style that never fails to make me feel happy.

Even though the story in and of itself isn't groundbreaking - a little plant fairy decides to help a human grow a garden -, the message about community involvement was definitely adequate for the troubled times we live in. All the garden sprites decide to come forwards, together, to help humans make their gardens thrive; and, in the end, the gardens flourish and thrive like never before. The lesson is, when everyone comes together things can be extraordinary, and the community is so much stronger as a whole than each individual separately. This was a very kind reminder that we need to work with others to succeed, and bring our projects forwards.

All in all, a really sweet little story that I'll remember with love and tenderness for a long time to come!
