The world building, tension building, characters, and plot twists are top tier, but the real action (to me at least) only kicked off around the last hundred pages. That’s the only reason why I gave only 4 stars. I am excited to see where the story goes next!

I don't have good enough words describe it. It's just mind-blowing and impossibly amazing. I loved the plot and characters and it was something I never read before, like the plot is really unique. I definitely recommend it to EVERYONE.

Book 50 for 2024! 4/5 stars for this YA Fantasy read! I just love Kalynn and all her books! Fun mystery read with fantastical elements. But boy-o what a cliffhanger!
