I really loved Elise Bryant's first book Happily Ever Afters so I was so excited when I was there was going to be a companion novel! I love Bryant's dreamy approach to romance, intertwined with real problems and light humor.

I thought One True Loves was entertaining, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book. I've been reading some reviews and it seems like many people have preferred this novel, but there was something a bit more awkward and charming about Happily Ever Afters that I liked more. But still, this is a cute book if you're looking for a cute romance on a cruise!

Alex was a little boring at times but Lenore was a great MC so she totally made up for that

Great storyline and awesome, dynamic characters. Bryant did a fantastic job at capturing how confusing and messy the time before starting college can be.

Honestly this is more of a 3.5 but this is what's kept me awake as I pulled an all nighter for school and so I have to round up
