I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish, so I was excited that there was a sequel. But nothing about this book worked at all for me. So many things didn't make sense about this book, other than they needed to be that way to make the plot work. I was ready for it to be over by the middle, but forced my way to the ending hoping for some big twist that would make it all worth it - and I was disappointed to discover that the only twist wasn't really believable at all, nor was it that shocking.

This was a quick fun easy read with a satisfying ending. The tension was palpable wondering how the amazingly unlikable characters were going to get their comeuppance . It did not disappoint.

Wow that was surprisingly fantastic! I enjoyed the first book quite a bit but it gave me huge Housemaid vibes so that took away from the surprise in the plot as both were quie similar. This sequel however took me on a thril ride I didn't wanna come down from. I loved the battle of whits between the trio of female leads and I actually found myself rooting for the villain of the bunch Amber for some strange reason. The story overall was very entertaining and kept my interest piqued the emtie time. Not sure they could pull off a part 3 but I'm surely would be interested in a possible FINAL Mrs. Parrish.
