What a brilliant book
Why 3 stars? Let me tell you. First, when i read this book, i was thinking that they will find something like an buried treasure, or something.. Well.. Anyway, the beginning was very boring, the characters were boring, and Stanley kind of too, and the names? They were childish, i know know this is an childrens book but still, it was kind of expected what happens when you reach to the end, yes they escape and and the dad becames an millionare..

This book is honestly one of the greatest I have ever read; it is packed with much meaning and surprises. I didn't catch on to many of the secrets and hints in the book until the third time I read it. The style, pace, and emotion was written amazingly. This is definitely a book I can recommend to someone of any age, and it is one i can re-read. A lot of respect earned for Louis Sachar.
