خیلی خوب بود ! نمیدونم چطور توصیفش کنم یا بگم از چه نظر خوب بود فقط میتونم بگم خیلی خوب بود !
با اینکه هپی اند بود و من از داستان های هپی اند خوشم نمیاد چندان ، ولی فکر کنم بدنم نیاز داشت اصلا :)
+ یه ویژگی خوبش کوتاه کوتاه بودن فصل ها بود . حوصله سر بر نبود . برای من خیلی مهمه که فصل ها خیلی طولانی نشه :)
- همیشه از خزنده ها متنفرم بودم :| مو بر تنم سیخ میکنند

Holes is such a classic for a reason. It’s clever, funny, weird in the best way, and surprisingly emotional. The way all the different timelines and storylines come together is so satisfying. Stanley Yelnats is such an easy character to root for, and Camp Green Lake is one of those wild settings that sticks in your head long after you finish. It’s the kind of book that feels just as good to reread as it did the first time. Total childhood favourite that still holds up.

This is a brilliant children's novel that deeply touches the heart of young readers. From the struggles of being falsely accused of a crime, to the tortures of the dry lake at Camp Green Lake, to forming a lasting friendship with a very unlikely person. The story is strongly driven by a well crafted backstory, while the main story's characters are the ancestors of the backstory's characters. This novel clearly took a long time to craft and there are defiantly some tear-bringing moments. At some points, the novel felt like it lacked something, but I just couldn't think of what that was. Overall, I will see this is one of the best children's novels; however, with just a little bit more, it could be something even better.

Kunhan tarina käynnistyi kunnolla, vei mennessään. Tässä oli jotain satumaista, mistä tykkäsin kovasti. Tarina on eri aikajanojen palapeli, jossa menneisyys vaikuttaa tulevaan välillä arvattavilla, välillä arvaamattomilla tavoilla. Janat nivoutuvat yhteen tyydyttävällä tavalla. Teoksessa käsitellään ystävyyttä, vapautta ja onnellisuutta mielenkiintoisesta näkökulmasta.
Suuren osan lukuprosessista päässä soi diggy diggy hole, mikä myös viihdytti kovin.
