Really enjoyed this! I loved the writing and the flash back type of style every other chapter. I also like the chemistry shown between the characters which is usually not the most common in other romances which tend to feel like insta love. I can’t wait to read her newest book!

I loved this so much. I liked Beach Read a lot so I had high expectations going into this book and it definitely lived up to the hype.
I think it was a better book than Beach Read. Emily Henry writes incredible characters and Poppy and Alex did not disappoint. I found myself living for their banter while also craving their sincere moments; there was the perfect balance between the two. I loved the structure of this book too. Aspects of the plot were predictable but in just the right ways. The structure allowed the plot points I expected to be fresh and new and not boring at all. I enjoyed this the entire time and it was the first time I cried reading a book since Addie LaRue.
